Blame Her Ranch Embraces Glamping

We are thrilled to tell our friends and guests that we recently adding glamping amenities at Blame Her Ranch.

Glamping is an emerging travel and wedding segment that is expected to grow to $5.4 billion by 2028. Millennials and the rise of social media are driving this phenomenon, but so is the impact of Covid-19—as people are walking away from traditional hospitality offerings like hotels, resorts and restaurants due to the lack of social distancing and the desire for more remote, less people-oriented destinations.

At our ranch, everything we do is driven by what amenities we want to add to our beloved private ranch and then, we share these delights with Airbnb guests, wedding parties and family reunions.

Just a few steps away from the wagons are two full shower houses complete with toilet, shower, sink and their own heating and A/C units. We purposely parked the wagons in a remote location from the main lodge to provide a sanctuary and rustic feel. Guests staying at the wagons have easy access to the BHR barn, ceremony area, great lawn and lodge offering the best of both worlds. As you might expect, a fire pit with rocking chairs is positioned between the two wagons for the full glamping experience. Glamping guests have 70-mile views of the beautiful northern New Mexico wilderness.

Whenever possible, we have created a link between nature and glamping: to respect nature in a way that allows our guests to reconnect with the great outdoors while glamping in style with all the luxuries a private home would offer.

No matter how much camping experience you have or not, it is important that you recognize that glamping runs a wide spectrum between 5-star accommodations to a simple tent. We believe that luxury and a unique experience do not need to simply disappear because you are staying in one of our wagons vs. one of our guest rooms. In fact, several wedding couples have opted to forgo our luxury master bedroom suite and instead take one of our Conestoga wagons for their special wedding night.
